Does anyone ever watch the tapes?

I noticed several plot holes in this film but then again, who doesn't. The main plot hole is who is watching these tapes? I ask because remember in the scene when we see the young woman sleeping in Cody's room? The first few nights go without incidence. But in one scene, there's Cody or some manifestation that looks like him, standing over her bed and its being recorded. Later, the next morning, everyone conducts life like business as usual. I thought once they viewed the tape, she would stop sleeping the room but the next night, there she is again, sleeping in Cody's room. I think they never saw the footage.

Another plot hole is the first time we watch Cameron recording his video blog. While he's sitting in the bathroom, something is walking in the background of his shot. Yet, he never mentions it later in the story. In addition, later when he's recording another video blog, there is disturbance in the atmosphere as he's recording. Yet, I don't think this is ever discussed later in the story b/c like before, its never viewed back. BTW, the only time I remember the crew discussing recorded footage is when they discover Cody running through the kitchen.

There were recordings we saw of strange things but I don't think the crew ever saw the footage. Am I correct in this?
