Cars are all too new!

It is not realistic that every car and truck you see is practically new. In the 60's there were old and beat up cars then as well, not everything was shiny and new.
They got all the cars from collectors that have been restored perfectly for this show.

That's what I thought. Plus there were too many early 50s cars at a time when people bought cars every two or three years.

All period movies feature beautiful cars from that era loaned by owners.

Also, they had too few old cars. Possibly 20 or so to use thru the series. I kept seeing the same orange 57 ford wagon over and over again.

Yup I thought this too. Car enthusiasts got a call.

I'd recently watched a video on youtube, someone driving around my city in 1993 and taping it. There are so many old fashioned cars from the 60s, 70s, 80s on the road that you don't see today. That's what stood out, the older cars that were still around. It wasn't all 1990s cars.
