This character never felt that it was wrong to sneak into another country. Also, he never tried to attempt to learn German and the Germans never bothered to learn Mexican either.
shareBrother, your biases are showing!! Last year (2015) there were more than 70 Million "illegals" worldwide crossing borders with no papers. 98% of them were NOT Mexicans!! And furthermore, there are now MORE Americans crossing in to Mexico looking for work than Mexicans crossing in to the US? Explain that whydoncha?
And why nobody learned the others' language.....pretty obvious, they were working at it BUT this whole story took place in only a few weeks. How fast could YOU learn German?
Mexicans speak Spanish, not "Mexican". In any case, it'd be Mexican Spanish.
