For the love of all things good, dye those roots

Nearly every woman on the show has an inch of dark roots. Why is this so hard to control? I rarely complain about shows on IMDB because there are enough people doing that already, but this honestly takes me out of the time period and the show. It's so jarring. I'm willing to accept the multi-dimensional balayage Rosemary has going on (and other anachronisms), but come on! Don't leave her with dark roots! It's especially bad on Elizabeth.

I love this show. This is just irksome. ;-)

I came on here to see if anyone had discussed this topic. I just binge watched again and every single episode Elizabeth and Abigail have terrible roots! It gets worse with each season. It seems like the more makeup they put in the actresses, the less they cared about the hair coloring. Not to mention they clearly spend hours curling and flat ironing their hair, why no touch up?
