Daniel Lissing/Jack not listed up to 2017 season?

I've been curious, I clicked on Daniel's IMDB profile and it looks like he's only credited for doing 2014-2016 seasons while all of the main and supporting characters are sticking around until the 2017 season. Why is that? I seriously doubt they would kill a main character off of their flourishing show.
