shareI just started the sequel "Palace Of Treason", but yeah Red Sparrow was pretty good! This will definitely make for a good movie.
shareBook was incredible, I hope they're able, (in the film), to adequately 'display' her special talent with colors....(forgot what the term is), that give way to people's True feelings and intentions. Also hope they keep her 'deceased friends', (who show up as advisors), in the picture. So many, many layers to the book; would be criminal if these "details" we're left from the plot. Oh, and the Russian accent, when she pronounces 'Nate' as 'Nyet'......loved the book - need an Awesome movie to do it justice!
shareThe term for her very unusual gift is synesthesia. I'm hoping they have some great technology to achieve what was so well illustrated in the book.
shareTotally agree. Both books amazing plotlines and characters. Third and last in the series published next month. But Jennifer Lawrence as a Russian ballerina turned Kremlin spy? That's an Alicia Vikander role.
shareLoved the book too, yet am I alone in feeling Jennifer Lawrence is not the best choice here?
Can't wait to see Sergei Polunin.
I love the books too. Just finished reading Palace of Treason and I can't wait for The Kremlin's Candidate. I love every ending of the books, it keeps me excited for the next.😀
shareI also really liked the book, but I am worried about this film. Firstly it is a very dense book to compact into 2 hours and 2nd the cast seems off. Lawrence is a really talented actress but I don't know how she will do with the accent, and Joel Edgerton is too old to play Nate Nash. But I hold out hope now nonetheless.
