This movie is disappointing

Well, my point is:
The movie had a nice concept, following a young forest through a few centuries.
If only there weren't mostly childish looking animated scenes that reminded me of the movie "Epic". And all those unscientific talk with no real explanation how things work.
The claim about plant scents can make it rain is bogus.
Evaporation from the trees make it rain, and (this is amazing, but not mentioned in the movie) bacteria:

They don't even say where exactly they where, and they don't even mention the trivial names for most of the plants. (And not a single scientific name is mentioned)

All in all, there are a few good scenes, and i'm still wondering how the filmed the big tree falling. But i can not recommend this movie to anybody who is really interested in biology or the rain forests.

Edit: Maybe only the german commentary is that bad, i had no chance to watch it in french or english.
