Chances for the BAF Oscar?

Saw this movie yesterday with my 8 year old cousin. We loved it! A great movie both kids and adults can enjoy. Any chance it can win the Best Animated Feature at the Oscars?

Not sure about winning, but I think it will (and should) get nominated.

Won't win but will get a nomination. Inside Out has it pretty much locked.

It's currently the 3rd frontrunner, after INSIDE OUT and ANOMALISA.

No way. The animation is good, although nothing new, but it never goes above the level of a cartoon for kids.

Inside Out was a lock but now that an actual movie *not for kids* which happens to be animated has been thrown in, they're all *beep* Anomalisa will win.

Even without Inside Out or Anomalisa, Shaun the Sheep would have zero chance. O Menino e o Mundo is far superior.

I might be alone here, but I'd gladly take this "cartoon for kids" over most other cartoons for kids coming out these days. Heck, I'd take it over most "comedies for adults" coming out these days. It has more wit and inventiveness in one scene than a lot of those movies have in their whole runtime. In my opinion at least.
