This movie was basically an idea for a 7-minute short film, stretched out to 85 minutes, with disgusting toilet humour used to fill out the run time. None of the characters were particularly likable, and the best gags have already been done better in other movies. I have no idea why anyone thought this was a good idea or why this junk is popular.

You have a lot of strong feelings about this movie, for some reason. And you're so wrong! Maybe you're upset because you don't understand the humor in a movie that was intended for children.

I think the OP made it pretty clear why they felt the way they did. Your ad hominem is inappropriate in a conversation of the merits of a movie and one's opinion.

I was looking forward to seeing Shaun, but I'm sorry to say, it's a snoozer.

The OP had made the same remark in other posts about this movie, whenever someone was praising it. He or she not only criticized the movie, but also the person who enjoyed it. My comment was not only appropriate, but necessary.

I think it was only necessary to you.

Ya' see, there's no difference in spamming the board with favorable or unfavorable opinions. In fact, there is so much weakly-justified praise for this movie that the dissenting opinion is all the more necessary for those truly looking for enough info to decide whether to commit their time to watching it.

Oh, please enlighten me! In what way does IMDB differentiate between those who post positive comments about a movie versus negative? Or is it just that opinions that disagree with your own should not be entitled to equal consideration?
