Well, finally watched this.....

and what a load of bollocks! 🙄🤣

I don’t know what it was exactly but I really found the main character annoying; not sure if it was SJ’s performance or what.

The scene where she’s first absorbing the drugs (irritatingly she refers to them throughout as powder when they’re clearly crystals) was laughable - comedic wiggling all over the surfaces.
Question - why was she in a jail cell anyway? Where was she? Previously she was being released with a plane ticket then she’s getting kicked and sexually assaulted in a grimy cell!

The way she eats the drugs in the plane too was hilariously bizarre!

The character became a complete asshole after the drugs - selfish, murderous, twitchy, robotic etc.

The scientists were lame. The extras were lame. The police were lame. The gangsters were lame. Was everyone just so laid back, so accepting or used to this weird shit that they couldn’t muster any wonder, fear, anger, questions etc?

Suspension of belief was everywhere in the film and for the viewer watching it.

They were holding the mules in that dingy place.... for reasons.

I guess so they wouldn't run away with the drugs.

Yep.

Typical French cinema. People not reacting to the things happening around them that would make most people perplexed, befuddled, or shocked.

Suspension of belief was everywhere in the film and for the viewer watching it.

It was a truly dreadful film, and the only solace I have in having watched it is knowing that I will never muster any desire to ever want to watch it again.

I couldn’t agree more!
