You have to give credit to the Asian gang and it's leader. They were bad-asses! Cool black suits. Cool hair. Cool ammo. A force to be recognized. The scene with the bazooka was so freaking awesome. They almost stopped Lucy at the end. I love the way Luc created them, I mean, there are other international ruthless gangs, but he went with Asians. And he made them look good!
shareI love Asian villains, especially if they're in the classic black suit and have black hair, an Asian drug gang was a perfect antagonist for a Metaphysical and Deep movie such as Lucy.
Makes you wonder what Villain they'll have for Lucy 2? maybe a relative or lover of Mr Jang? and they'll use the drugs to get revenge for Jang's death.
You're right, they were perfect for the metaphysical/deep villain for Lucy. I didn't know there was a Lucy 2 coming out. Can't wait for it. I hope they stay with the Asian gang. In Taken, they used Armenian gangs but they were unorganized and no match for Liam. In John Wick, they used Russian gangs and hmmm...yeah, I guess they were cool.
