The diner where Lou interviewed Rick - was it not straight out of Pulp Fiction?

The killer dialogue in this movie is definitely reminiscent of Tarantino.

not an homage, but yes, it's the same location. Used a lot in hollywood movies.

I thought the Pulp Fiction diner was torn down a while ago.

It's a totally different location. The one in Pulp Fiction was torn down years ago.
