Complete trash

I knew nothing of a book about this before hand, so, i watched this for the actors and the plot synopsis seemed very good, seemed like a nice thriller about forgiveness.

Radha Mitchell is a feast for the eyes. I needed to say this first. :)

Not even in my worst nightmares did i knew the movie would take such a 180º turn for the worst.
I was having a good ride, with the nice murder mystery, seemed solid. And then, the visit to the Shack came, and down the drain the movie went.
I´m chatolic raised, but far from being religious, ask me a passage from the bible and i tell you none. I don´t even rememeber if i have even read the Bible in the first place. I don´t need that sort of stuff to be a good person.
But i love spirituality, and journeys to the discovery of one self and that sort of stuff, and i found this excruciantly boring.
The concept itself was nice, but it dragged for so long, and the end after he leaved the shack was so stupid, that made the movie loose any sense.

Anyway, Radha Mitchell is a goddess. I already said that didn´t i?

The plot of this movie is right out of its head for a ''Christian'' film. Most of these Christian drama films are about mundane things. The plot of this film is just hilarious.. I can't even imagine the ''book''. Also his daughter is conveniently killed by a serial killer while he's trying to save his wife and other kid from a canoe accident? okay...

"Radha Mitchell is a feast for the eyes."

...Looks like a crazy weiner-chopper to me, but to each his own...
