Under The Porch

Too many similarities to the movie "The Intruders" movie. Mother and daughter mental issues, blonde friend next door, father buys an old house, doll that moves around, fathers work is tampered with, etc etc. Even the girl looks like Miranda Cosgrove. The real father resembles Donnel Logue. Are these stories related?
