Dialogue is odd

It very much like a play. It doesn't flow at all. Not sure if that makes sense, but I've noticed it now on the second watch.

The dialogue is terrible. Bad writing passing for artsy shit.

Very much agree. So many people have said to me, "You just don't 'get it'. It's a love letter to old cinema..."

My niece and I can go out in the driveway and shoot some hoops, calling it a "love letter" to old NBA. That doesn't make it good basketball.
