I've been re-watching season one on Netflix. When Olivia and Jack first start dating, she makes a point of mentioning the potential conflict of interest, due to their respective occupations. Now we are expected to believe she would be openly flirting with an attorney who directly works in her courtroom? It just seems so out of character.
shareThe character does things all of the time that would never happen with a real lawyer or judge. Even by television standards, they play fast and loose with the legal plot points. I guess it's just not something that the creators give much thought to.
Not that their depiction of a career journalist is much better.
True enough. I guess I'm a little bitter at them giving us this interloper when I feel so strongly about the Jack/Olivia pairing.
