the new actor playing John

Does anyone know why there is a new actor for the John Bowman character? I've checked Charlie Carrick imdb page but doesn't seem like he is involved in other show, so why did they change actors?
So far I liked Carrick better

I also liked Carrick as John better, to me he was really handsome more so than this new character. I am wishing that this was just a one episode time thing, but it probably is not:(

acording to imdb the new actor it's in 5 episodes

Agreed. Not sure what happened, but this guy is very stiff, and I had a hard time buying him as an artist/chef.

Not bad to look at, though.

Yeah, would have to see him more to form a real opinion but in the two minutes he was on screen I didn't see him as the artist/chef either.
And he is good looking but even in that aspect I liked Carrick better.

I agree. They did the same thing with Seth in season one, but I didn't mind that switch. This new John Bowman doesn't suit. I wish programs wouldn't swap out actors.
