I'm a little late, since I just saw your message, but it ticks me off that "free" nets play this game when their shows were just on "for free" to every household in America, so I thought I'd chime in .. my wife watches this show and occasionally her DVR won't record it. We are DirecTV subscribers and according to Hallmark online, our "provider" isn't eligible, which is ridiculous since DirecTV is one of the biggest providers in the US. I refuse to pay for an ep of a show that is in current or recent season. I don't condone "pirating" if you want an entire season for archival purposes, but just to catch up on a missed ep while you were out of town or your DVR hacked up a hairball I think it ridiculous to have to pay!
If you sign up for a newsgroup provider (Usenetserver is a good cheap one for $10/ month), or your ISP might even have newsgroup capabilities, then go here: http://www.nzbclub.com/search.aspx?q=%22cedar+cove%22 You can download what you need. All TV shows are listed on the internet by these types of numbers:
that is, "S01E01" would mean "Season 1, Episode 1." "S05E10" would be "Season 5, Episode 10," and so on.
You will also need to download a free program called "SABnzbd" which will download all parts of the NZB files (search for it). Since the files you will download are zip/archival files, you should virus scan them after download, but I have rarely found them to contain a virus (but you're on your own risk here .. use caution and virus scan anyway). Then, you just unzip the file(s). True .. you might have to pay $10 for the newsgroup provider, but then you can download as much as you need each month, and you can cancel ANY time.
If all of the nets would just make their current season's shows easily available, then we wouldn't have to go through these contortions to watch a recent show we missed. At least when we watch their shows online, we HAVE to watch the ads that we are skipping with our DVRs anyway!
