It's great! It sucks!

So many mixed reviews. One review on Rotten Tomatoes says the screenplay is terrible. The review right after it says the screenplay is brilliant. One review says Colin Firth is bad. The next review says he's amazing. And yet other reviews harp on the age difference, Dylan Farrow, or that Woody is overrated. So many strong opinions about Woody Allen's work. I guess that's the sign of a true artist.

Very true. And I mostly just trust the top critics feature because a large number of so called critics aren't critics at all but just people with an opinion and a blog.

Really don't see the difference.

The accusations of child molestation are creepy and weird. IMHO I can judge or appreciate the film apart from that but I don't begrudge anyone who can't. Especially if they are up front about it.

Well, then, considering the accusations are patent BS, I'll begrudge them for you.

It is. But can't you also admit it was creepy and weird that he slept with his children's sister? He knew her since she was 10. Why wouldn't people think he is capable of molestation? (not that it's true)

Why wouldn't his children be repulsed by him for sleeping with their adopted sister?

If it's a lie of course it's wrong by this is why you don't do what he did. It messes up your kids.

Would you be ok if an Uncle (or someone) who knew your daughter since she was 10 ended up marrying her?

I am Luxurious

They weren't his children, is how you avoid being repelled by it.

Also creeped out. I try to avoid his films to prevent supporting him in any way. I do love Firth, though! But I could have skipped this one, and I do have to wonder why actors tie themselves to an accused child molester.
