1. They were aparently on budget (car, house interior, clothing, etc.) with only one income, despite all Apple product placement in every single shot including their house.

2. It was sort of nice depiction how bad is religious brainwashing, no matter if Christian, Muslim or Jewish, you could even see her American room full of Jewish posters, she was completely brainwashed with religious propaganda about shaving her head, wearing dull clothes, repeating learned phrases, etc.

Ummm did you miss the point about how she thought that was her religious calling? I can't tell if you are trolling or not. She deliberately picked her clothes to be covering and "modest".
