Charlotte used the stone to heal her wound. Alright.
But why did the stone work to heal it, if it was fake to begin with?
And one more question, when Charlotte gave back the stone she was supposed to find the real stone, she looked in a mirror.... so, did she become the stone?

The stone was never fake, however the power was always inside Charlotte.

It was just the second time around, Charlotte needed to know that it was all her power not the rock.

Yes, she realized that she was the stone.
