I agree; the show's really fun. I really think it's mostly the 90s kids here who trashed the show (and wanted Nick to air their beloved shows again)*. I've heard much of the criticisms:
- It's a grossed out show (It is to some degree, but the series barely focused on it. Then again, Rocko's Modern Life and Ren & Stimpy had grossed out moments as well.)
- It's a ripoff of Regular Show. Not completely true. However, a lot of people don't know that a few people who had worked on Sanjay and Craig have also worked on Regular Show. I think this stems from Nick's promos of the series before its debut (pne of these have Sanjay and Craig snickering reminiscent of Mordecai and Rigby) that led many people to think that SaC is very Regular Show-esque.
- And despite the complaints from the 90s kids, the guys behind popular Nick series The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi, are the producers behind Sanjay and Craig.
Sanjay and Craig is popular enough for Nick to give the show three seasons and some merchandise. The show doesn't deserve this much negativity.
*By the way, I love many cartoons from that era as well cartoons of today. Even better, of any era. I really wish that rose-colored glasses mentality should stop.
