I laughed at that line. He slept with his wife millions of time XD

The point he was making, mistakenly, was that Hugh was wrong in thinking his "best friend" couldn't be him because his "best friend" wouldn't have slept with his wife.

Mike was making the point that since the "decoherence" only started with the comet, and the affair happened before that, then yes other Mikes had slept with his wife too.

Except he was wrong because the decoherence started long before that. The comet only made all the various realities collide.
