The Wool Pooh

Even though this was obviously a low budge film, I thought the acting was good, especially the actress who played Joey. I am from Flint, Mi and read this book when it first came out. I've read most of C. P. Curtis's books. The two things I remember about the book was how it was humorously told that the when the dog got sick, it always went behind the sofa and magically got well so the kids thought going behind the sofa had magical powers. Also, it was not evident in the movie that the wool pooh that the grandmother warned the kids about was indeed real, but it was a "whirl pool."
