What does this show have anything to do with brains at all?

Besides not being about science and scientists, this show seems to be all about being able to lead, not solid engineering skills. Plus, if you are a team lead and your team loses the challenge, you are almost guaranteed to be eliminated. So who wants to stick their neck out and create a out of the box design (where you will more likely be picked as a team lead), but then if you can't deliver on that design, you get kicked out.
