Hi I am a huge fan of these style of shows. I love Dateline and 48 hours. I started watching this a few hours ago. I'm up to episode 4. I don't think people would be upset about it. It's either a genre you like or don't. Unfortunately the victim is usually the forgotten name but I think it gives good insight into the mind of a killer. The show would mean nothing if the convicted person claimed innocence or it was an accident etc. So far I feel the first 2 episodes were the best because the killers were honest - they admitted to no remorse/guilt. I of course don't believe in violence, murder, rape etc but it was good to hear the truth and perhaps these types of people will help psychologists, doctors, police, judges, and the general public understand why they are the way they are, study their brains perhaps and work out how to fix it before it becomes a problem ie if these people all have a common brain difference from normal people, maybe it could help predict this type of behaviour in others and maybe a medication could be found? I'm not talking in the next 5 years but perhaps in 50 years it will be different. I also believe that babies born should have their DNA taken and stored. Then 20 years later when they commit a crime, it is known who the offender is... I'm not a believer in that type of privacy - if you're a good citizen then you have no need to worry. Maybe everyone could give their DNA but a newborn baby in a hospital - it could just become a routine part of having a baby and then most people would be in the system. I know this will never happen but if I was in charge it would lol
