This show is kind of entertaining if nothing else is on but why do they keep showing clips from people who are just doing things the Mythbusters did ages ago and already proved or disproved?

Yeah I guess I missed that part, NOT. I mean why do the people doing the videos do the experiments, almost word for word it seems, that the Mythbusters did, and then the scientists explain it, again almost word for word, like it's some eureka breakthrough moment? It seems like I see an example of this in every episode. Just seems like a waste of time to rehash something that was done/explained years ago.
