ZZZZZZZ.....

Snore of a film. Had some potential, with a old drawn out fight from the begining to end and there is nothing exciting. Acting was mediocre for the most part Purcell was an ill fit for the role and it wasn't a fight.

If you want a boxing movie, this isn't it. Its just a cover to tell a painful past of two fighters. One is looking for a way out and another is looking for suffering. That being said, this movie could have been waaay better done if they didn't try to choke you with the sob story behind both fighters.

Yep.

It's really hard to fail with a sports, 'root for the underdog" kind of movie, but this one accomplishes it.

So disjointed, so incredibly cliched.... And while the supporting cast is excellent, the two lead actors can barely speak English.

It's also really dark & depressing. Not in a good way, but in a "I just graduated from cinematography school" way.

I'll give the director credit for at least trying an unusual twist on the "flashback" technique, but no actual points since it doesn't really work.

I gave it a "2" simply for the supporting cast.
