At four hours this must be one of the directors shortest films. For example Melancholia clocked in at eight hours. This is the first film I've seen by this director and I doubt I'll watch anymore. I have nothing against long films but this one was monumentally tedious. The main thing I got from the film is how poor a director Diaz actually is. A better director could have made a more interesting and shorter film. Though I had to laugh when another poster said the film should be nominated for a foreign film Oscar. Fat chance.
