Wow, that poster:D One of the best movie poster I've seen, no doubt. Dahai is so badass. Great movie also. Beautiful cinematography and very gripping story. Movie 8/10, poster 10/10!

The problem with the poster is that it's visual fraud.

Maybe if I was Chinese I would have grasped some of the nuanced societal commentary, or why I should care about any of the characters. But I'm not, and so I found this film utterly uninteresting.

The poster promises excitement. The film delivered the opposite of excitement.
