Can't help thinking....

that this wouldn't be getting so much critical praise if it was an English language film.

I was looking forward to this but was so disappointed. OK, it was an interesting glimpse at parts of a culture most of us are unfamiliar with. And it looked good. Sadly though, the stories were pretty run of the mill and, to be kind, far from gripping. If this was a US or UK film, it would be scoring about 2 points less. 5/10 for me.
