Cannes!

The director won the BD award at Cannes. Another congrats due.

Keep silent unless what you are going to say is more important than silence.

This is something definetly worth being proud of... let's hope we can finaly get a thrend for the film making industry in Mexico, and a trend in a good way... We got the Del Toro's, the Quaron's, the Gonzalez Iñarritu's, Hayek, Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna, and a whole new generation of people looking to do things diferently, to show the world that Mexico is a country that can contribute strongly to the film industry.

For the time being Thumbs up!!!, Cheers!!! and a well deserved standing ovation!!!, i know the film's ultimate purpose is not get the critics recognition, but rather a form of expresion of a collective of artists, but... i doubt it hurts the resume to have "Cannes BD Winner" listed as one's achivements.
