How the f* isnt this rated higher?

If youve watched Cartel Land, or any other documentary about what is going on in Mexico, how can you NOT be floored by this movie? Is it because it is too brutal? Not Hollywood enough? Too few laughs? The rating of this movie shows how most people turn their backs to the suffering of others. If its too sad, they dont want to know about it. Its a *beep* disgrace. Time to wake up from your delusional happy ending! Watch this amazing movie! (which have so many other qualities than just its brutal honesty)

I agree, that is an oddly low rating for such a high quality film. Perhaps it's the explicit nature that turned people off? I for one am glad the director chose not to go light in depicting the real violence that occurs on a constant basis in Mexico.
