Most of these so called contractors seem to be more interested in being on camera then doing the work.. Just like any soap opera this show is scripted, rehearsed, corrections made, more rehearsals, until they get it RIGHT... Which means 100% FAKE!
shareThey hardly need the fame since they are already set. It is clear, unlike other shows, they do the work. Silver actually wears protective gear during demo and he is licensed contractor.
It isn't as fake as you claim. But if you don't like it, don't watch it. All reality TV is scripted to some extent. Necessary to make it work in an hour.
They do it for charity.
