katey sagal is an incredible actress and an even better singer. they could have done so much more with that kind of talent rather than a pointless cameo.

i dont know what else they could have done with her but then again, im not a script writer. i wouldnt imagine it is too difficult to write in a music legend like that into a musical movie.

Maybe a duet with her and Emily ? Either during the finale or maybe during her pep talk about how the Bellas are for life .. Could have worked in a sweet little song 😃

She was definitely an underdeveloped cliched 'mom character.' "Oh I loved my my time as a Bella and you will too.." Good bye, see you at the end of the movie.



I didn't know she could sing. I was pleasantly surprised by that.

I didn't think she belonged in the movie at all. Her character was pointless.

Katey's voice is such a gem. I loved all the songs she sang for the SOA soundtrack.

And a duet with her daughter or the Bellas (maybe to show them how it's done) would have been nice. They could have gotten the Bellas from her year to perform for and inspire the new Bellas.

Dude, the whole cast is wasted on that piece of garbage, and I'm including Rebel Wilson, the Youtube band, and the extras in that.
