I Feel Like They've expended The Plot For a Third Movie Already.

The first movie was a national collegiate acapella competition, Im assuming they won non collegiate national titles during the time skip. In the 2nd film they've won the world Acapella competition. Now what the hell can you do for the third movie? A Universe competition? Are the Bellas going to compete against Martians now?

They've reached the Zenith of their popularity by winning world's so how can you extend this story any further? Im guessing the 3rd movie would have to focus on a balance between The Bella's becoming a larger than life acapella entity,and Becca's career, possibly moving forward in life with Jesse, but then it would cease to be what Pitch perfect set out to be.

They put themselves in the corner a la The Mighty Ducks. I mean, you just won the olympics, so the next step up is obviously a prep school.

A couple of thoughts, things could go different ways:
They become so popular that eventually all 10 of them are simultaneously elected president of the United states, then they, along with other international a capella champions,stampede across various continents, burning everything and subjugating all who dare oppose them,
Or,
It's just 90 minutes of middle aged Barden Bellas, now pathetic like the Tone Hangers, panhandling on street corners, battling heroin abuse as well as each other, until they fall, utterly and irrevocably divided.
Maybe.

The only thing they could do is train new Bellas, after Emily Junk takes over as the lead Bella at the end of PP2.

I'm glad to finally see that someone was paying attention in the movie! They are wondering how the Bellas can go further than world when there was only ONE Bella left in the end. They will have to start fresh on all accounts!
