Did Jack Irish commit triple murder at the end?

Did Jack Irish commit triple murder at the end?

His life was no longer in imminent danger because 1) Vince Colosimo's character had stopped shooting 2) he thought Jack was dead and 3) was trying to get away in the chopper. Plus, I think any reasonable person would assume that it was likely that the people in the chopper would be killed as a result of a car ramming the chopper at high speed.

I thought it was a ripper of a yarn and greatly enjoyed it, but I was wondering just how he could have gotten away with his actions at the end.

It wasn't triple murder. It was quadruple. You forgot to count either the pilot or the henchman who was sitting next to Kat Stewart in the back of the chopper.

Considering the level of political corruption and other deaths committed by these people. I doubt the police are going to want to look too closely. The only one would be his sleeping partner, a journalist out to make a reputation for herself at other people's expense.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
