If you were shipwrecked and swam to this little island you'd have some clothes - I like these kind of survial somes but i wish he had some clothes on - its kind of creepy seeing him naked all the time.

shareIf he is allowed to have clothes, then he would have easy access to a rope that he could use for his firebow. And possibly a belt buckle that he could sharpen into a knife, and possibly a fish hook or harpoon point. And I am sure there are lots of people who could make up lots of other things clothes could be used for in such a situation. So in order to make sure that he should get no help from things like this, it's easier to simply decide that he should be naked.
I am sure that is also part of the reason for the Naked and Afraid series.
But then again, of course it is also simply to attract curious viewers. Otherwise, why put it in the title of the shows?
And if you feel it's creepy to watch someone who is naked, then I think you have a problem that you need to address.
