Anyone else want that 90 minutes of their life back?

The move got off to a slow start, & then slowed down further to a tedious, dreary & inscrutable crawl. It was advertised as an "edge of the seat" drama. I was on the edge of my seat all right....trying to decide if the Mrs would be furious if I got up to go stare the wall in the lobby for something more interesting.

I actually watched all of this movie as an exercise in self-discipline. However, I feel I would have received equal or greater entertainment value by staring at the face of a basset hound for 90 minutes.

Why are there so many BAD movies coming out this year?

Seems to me the problem is the misleading advertising, rather than the film itself. The film is a drama all right, maybe even "edge of the seat" in the sense that watching a character who is perilously close to belonging in the loony bin is emotionally draining for viewers.

But the usual understanding of "edge of the seat" (or "thriller") is something different, more along the lines of cops and robbers. It's such an egregious mis-description I can only conclude it was on purpose. The folks who did it should be made to subsist on bread and water for several months.

I agree, edge of the seat with the RC in my hand...

I do. I really do.

I came to this site to read about it, wondering what the story was that I just watched. While the description sets forth a story, it's not one I was able to discern from watching the whole film. The trailer was intriguing, so I really am shocked at how completely pointless the movie is.

Epic fail!

Debate my points. Challenge my perspective. Prove me wrong. Only, do it with a smile.

LOL! Great to see I wasn't the only one bored witless, but intrigued to see how far this film would dive into the depths of tedium.🐭
