bad tactics

i like the show ..a mix of skill and gen knowledge but sometimes i despair at the tactics used in the final round..
If you know nothing about one of the final category and are going to guess then you should always go for three slots...if your guessing anyway it doesn't matter how hard the question is it,it really annoys me when so many go for one or two in that situation it just makes no sense..
