big plot hole

how does she shave her armpits? and why?

reply

Nobody want's to see a hairy woman!

reply

that's not true and it's not an explanation

reply

She probably has a razor blade that enables her to cut her armpits. As for the why: perhaps armpit hair is too uncomfortable for her. Or perhaps Josh asked her too because it looks more attractive to him.

reply

Or perhaps, armpit hair is yummy in the future... probably good on fossilized bread.

reply

Yeah, its spelled "nobody wants to see a hairy woman"....

if you mark that one up as a plot hole you should consider readjusting your plot-hole finding device. it seems to be a bit too sensitive.

PRO/
I haven't seen the film so could you tell me how close the closest shot of her armpits was? Because even with a HD cam you have to be really close to short body hair to actually see them (or rather: the shadow they throw on the skin).

Think about the porn industry where they sometimes don't shave with razors to avoid skin irritations because, unlike short body hair (few millimeters), those irritations can and will be seen on the footage.

[edit:]
I am implying that she didn't necessarily had to shave, but maybe just cut the hair really short with something less hard to find than a razor. if she had the skills though accompanied by a clean, sharp knife she could have pulled it off.

too many ifs and coulds here for a real plothole. real plotholes or actually what we're talking about here are goofs have to make the filmmakers go "Duh! How could we not see this!" or else "Yeah, we know but sadly we ran out of cash to reshoot."

reply

I haven't seen the film...

Maybe watch the movie first before chiming in and trying to discredit the guy that actually saw the film? I don't think that's asking too much.
