Loses nothing in comparison to Shaun

I gave the first Dead Snow 6/10 but this is an 8/10 for me.

Shaun Of The Dead seems an obvious comparison, and in that respect it comes out well.

I laughed more at this than I have at any recent film that purported to be a full-blown comedy. The gore was OTT but the film was all the better for it. The story moved along briskly, and I didn't even think the introduction of the Zombie Squad, in what I suppose was an attempt to appeal to a wider audience, did any great harm.

Good film, the best I've seen for a few months.

You mention Shaun Of The Dead and now I want to go back and watch it and see how it compares to this. As for you rating of the first Dead Snow movie I thought it was better than average and I guess you did too. I gave it a 7 but really I wanted to give it a higher score. As for the 8 out of 10 you gave Dead Snow 2 what stopped you from giving this a 10 out of 10? I see this as a classic for this horror/zombie/comedy genre and saw no flaw to the movie. What did it not deliver that you wanted? Eh anyway ... awesome movie that I wish I saw in theatres ... Dead Snow 2!

As for the 8 out of 10 you gave Dead Snow 2 what stopped you from giving this a 10 out of 10?

I find it difficult to give any film a 1 or a 10. I can't say any film is utterly worthless or absolutely perfect. I've only given my all-time favourites a 9!

This is a great film but I think 8 is fair enough.
