Not a horror movie.... (spoilers)

The first film had some legitimate disturbingly scary moments...

This film, while perhaps helping to invent or expand the genre (which they even alluded to in the dialogue) has no scary scenes whatsoever.

During the last fight between the main Russian dude and the main Nazi dude, i realized i didn't care whatsoever what was going to happen... It was just silliness. Granted, i think humor has a place in a movie like this, but there should've been better balance with horror, as well.

For what this movie was trying to be it hit on everything. I really should give this a 10/10 because I don't think I have seen a zombie/horror/comedy done or anything similar done this well. This truly was a fun and exiting ride. The ending was not only LOL but there were also emo moments and captivating moments too. I definitely felt something for some of the characters. Again what is there to knock in this picture? Nothing. The last time I enjoyed a comedy like this it was Shrek movies or the American Pie movies (except for the last one).

You're right. It isn't a horror, it's a balls out action comedy with blood and guts. It couldn't have been made scary again after the big reveal of the first one so the decision to make it hilarious instead was a step in right direction for me.

As sequels go, it's up there with the best because it's different enough to justify it's own existence, like Alien/Aliens.
