Saw it at Inside Out yesterday...

I saw it too - and I loved it so much. It has the potential of being the best short of the festival selection. Such a great, heart-warming story. I'd definitely be ready for a sequel.

I wondered where in California it was shot. Some locations looked like LA or central coast. Either way - great job guys!

This was really lovely and touching, as well as surprisingly natural and authentic (and not just because of the filmed-on-a-smartphone angle). I could even see this being turned into a feature film, widening the picture we got here.
