7/10: Solid feel good movie.

If you are feeling down or want to get cheered up I strongly recommend this movie.
It takes an old theme (friends who meet each other as good and bad guy) and makes it its own. These kinds of feel good movies where the message is really to behave well and feel good about yourself by doing so is something there is less of year by year (not counting doc.).
The acting is definitely allright, especially the early parts of the storyline.
The fighting scenes are a bit unrealistic at times but hold up ok (especially if you compare it to the run of the mill hollywoodaction), some of them are not well acted, they do seem a bit more realistic than alot of movies you get today because they actually contain grit and bodyhits, which arent that common - still!

Overall the storyline is given the time it should be given (way too many stories are stressed these days), the classic structure with flashbacks is done seamlessly and the movie simply leaves you with a quirky good feeling.


Ignorance is only a bliss if you haven't reached awareness.
