She's the creator and director of the CAAM (Center for Asian American Media) Fellowship.
I wonder if the movie will be premiered there. Their festival is in March 2015.

Would be great if it does. This director seems pretty respected, but isn't this his first feature film?

Yes it is. But that's no obstacle. The movie is about a mixed-race American family. Writer and director are both Indian-American and the script has won the Grand Jury Prize of another Asian-American festival. There are clearly connections to that circle of filmmakers.

I knew Taylor's handsome universal look would always be appreciated in Hollywood. So happy for him and the director.

That would be great! Sundance is always in January? If they can complete the movie in time for the application they can try.

Of course I can. Taylor is good in doing promotion and Soham Mehta was with all his former short films on festivals. Why should he change this stragedy with his first feature film?
