This movie is rated PG 13? DC doesn't understand...

... the meaning of a PG 13 film. This movie is probably the bloodiest and most graphic until The Killing Joke but damn, it should've been Rated R lol

I know what you mean it kind of haunted me when SPOILER: wonderwoman kills Billy Batson and the other orphans.

You do know that they have no control over the rating right? The movie is made and submitted for rating and the rating board decides on the rating.

It didn't actually cross any R-rated lines. Aquaman's wife beheaded only showed the aftermath and did not have any entrails or dripping blood. There were about four swear words, and none crossed that R-rated limit. Super did vaporize humans, but it was done from a distance for the shot and were instantly gone, nothing left. Even Aquaman losing his arm was bloodless. Billy's death by Wonder Woman was done off-screen.
It's a hard PG-13 for sure, but definitely stays within it.

I know what you mean. I walked into the room as they were showing WW holding the head of Mera. It didn't occur to me that it was a beheading at first bc I didn't see any blood. I thought it was a mask she was holding up.

The hole blasted through Professor Zoom's head wasn't bloodless.

Neither was the alternate timeline killing of young Bruce Wayne. Even if there is no dripping blood, the dismembered body parts and murder of young children certainly crosses the line.

This was far more violent than "Killing Joke". It should have been "R".

A lot of people think that PG-13 means that it is for little kids but that is not true. PG-13 means that it is meant for kids 13 and older. So if an 8 year old sees the movie and it scares him, then the parents shouldn't say that the movie was too violent for PG13.
