I'm happy to read it will have a third season

'The Awesomes' is IMO one of the funniest animated shows I've seen in years. It's one reason I'll stay a Hulu Plus member. Especially now that I read it will have a third season. The series gets better with each episode. I particularly like Bill Hader's work as Dr. Malocchio, that character is hilarious, the others are all good too. I can see that the series may not be for everyone based on some comments I've read here. It does require a certain degree of intelligence from the viewer to be fully appreciated. The writing is witty and smart, that's very refreshing in an age of reality trash and dumbed down TV for viewers who don't want to think to much. Perhaps the references to things like Wilson from the movie 'Castaway' go over some people's heads.

So keep up the good work to all those involved in this refreshingly fun series.

It's hilarious that you think people are turned off because it's too intellectual for them - this show is moronically simplistic and aggressively unfunny compared to other "grown up" cartoons on TV.

Due to the lack of moderators, trolls can ruin the IMDB message boards. Don't feed them.

You find it moronic and yet you go to a discussion board to talk about it? Well to each his own.

Yes. As you mentioned, this is a discussion board, not a fan board. Presumably someone as intelligent as you would understand the difference...

Anyway, please continue to reap the intellectual bounties of The Awesomes with my blessing.

Btw, the episode “From Here To Paternity”, where Muscleman, due to his love for “alien pussy” gets hit with a paternity suit on a planet that’s shaped like a boob and all its inhabitants have two boobs for eyes with a nondescript body underneath - wow, that episode worked on so many levels. Agreed?
