Bravo has put a premiere date on its first scripted series!

Bravo is entering new territory with the first-ever original scripted series Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. The show—starring Lisa Edelstein, Janeane Garofalo and Beau Garrett—will premiere December 2 at 10p ET/PT.

Based on Vicki Iovine's best-selling book series and co-produced by Marti Noxon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mad Men), Girlfriends' Guide follows Abby (Edelstein) as she copes with separating from her husband. Relying more on her divorced friends than her single ones for guidance, Abby also navigates the complicated world of dating in her 40s, raising two children, and staying on top of her career.

The cast of Girlfriends' Guide features Garofalo as Abby's friend Lyla and Garrett as Phoebe, the former model who's still carrying a torch for her ex. There will also be special cameos from Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox.
