Is that what we r going for here? She is a writer, and not just any writer, she is a writer about emotional topics.. She is on the dating scene and she has a couple crazy friends, one who is a sex worker (samamtha lol) and a woman who works at a law firm (Miranda) and a gay brother (that one dude who was her best friend) I mean I loved sex and the city, still watch episodes on TV and would watch a million movies, but for real??? The girlfriends guide to divorce is a good show, but just seems to me like I have heard this storyline

Doesn't feel like it to me, based on watching the first three episodes. I watched SaTC (never saw any of the movies) but I can't say I liked it as much or found it as realistic as this show.

Nothing is original. I've seen very, very few things that aren't arguably similar to something else that came before. Doesn't make them alike, or derivative.

I think nearly every female show about divorce or dating is similar to sex and the city.

Agree. The star also has a long horsey face.
